1st Class school of motoring is a family run independent driving school based in Cardiff, South Wales and has been teaching learner drivers since 1985 and has been a member of the Driving Instructors Association since 1986. We offer a friendly and patient fully qualified D.S.A. Approved Driving Instructor, who prides himself on having a very high first time pass rate and maintaining a relaxed and stress free in car environment on a one to one basis. We also adhere to the Driving Standards Agency (D.S.A.) code of practice, a copy of this code of practice can be found on this website or phone 0115 901 2500 for an information leaflet.

The courses available are:

• Complete beginner to test standard
• Pass plus courses for the newly qualified driver.
• Motorway lessons.
• Refresher courses.
• Intensive or semi intensive courses.

All courses can be tailored to the individual needs of the pupil.

Complete Beginner

Beginner courses start from initial controls lesson and then onto cover the entire DSA recommended learn to drive sylibus.

Pass Plus Courses

Pass Plus courses are a minimum of six hours tutition to include:

The Pass Plus scheme is designed by the D.S.A. for newly qualified drivers of all ages. It's primary aim is to develop the attitudes and skills that are essential for safe driving. It is a structured training course delivered by your ADI. It is a volutary scheme supported by the insurance industry and taken part could result in cheaper car insurance.

By choosing to take part in this scheme you will have shown that you want to be skillful and safe driver.

Motorways Lesson

Motorway lessons can be one, two or more hours depending the needs of the individual. To include entry and exit from motorway, overtaking, route planning, dealing with break downs and emergencies.

Refresher Courses

Refresher courses are offered for those who may feel nervous about returning to driving or those who may have recently passed there practical test and need to boost their confidence
